The stages of the HGB Seddon house arch window restoration project. A perfect collaboration between Paparoa Timberworks and Ruben's Joinery. From a derelict rotten window, we managed to salvage old profiles and work our way through apply our quality heritage craftsmanship to replicate exactly what was there originally – job done!
We like to think that the craftsmen that created the original frames in 1910 would have been impressed. We all walk in the footsteps of the past after all! Find out more about the history of the building HERE

Private House
Window Repair
Situated on the West Coast peninsula of North Beach, we assisted the homeowners in a restoration project of their old double hung sash windows that looked the part but were in dire need of a full restoration.
A full removal and workshop restoration allowed us to bring these back to their former glory as new windows as well as giving the homeowner new, weathertight windows without straying away from the character of this unique property.
Private House
Window Repair
The original plan was to reinstate our clients unique window frame in double glazing, hand made by her great grandfather some years ago.
After finding significant rot through majority in the internal framework we came up with a modernizing concept while keeping the original shape. What may look simple was a fairly challenging job. Forming new jamb and sill sections and lots of templates to work with the curved brick wall.
